The Mitsubishi, Suzuki's, and Daihatsu's are the more popular Mini trucks as they are easy to fit inexpensive lift kits, and run larger tires for improved ground clearance and better traction.. still, you can easily go places that will scare you with the stock tires, and do it all day on very little fuel.
Not street legal, they are VERY popular on Farms and for other off roads uses.
Email George at George(at)Utterpower.com, or Call George at 253-631-1211 I do have a person who will deliver this truck, but you will need to work the fees with him. $4450.00 cash, This is more truck for less than some others would charge, I expect it to be sold to the first person wanting a mini truck. Location : Kent East Hill near Lake Meridian
Q&A Q Why do you say these MINI Trucks are not street legal, and for off road use only? I heard they can be licensed. A. The Mini Trucks do not meet our Federal Bumper Standards, According to our laws, it is a requirement that the vehicle meets these requirements in order to be street legal. There are exemptions to these rules, one being that the vehicle is 25 years old or older. There are DMV offices that have issued plates in the past, in was likely their error some say, others are certain that these are being licensed in certain states now. I'll just tell you it's not possible and then you won't be disappointed. Q. What about parts ? A. There's nothing you can't get for these trucks, anything from interior pieces to a new engine are available from several suppliers in the lower 48, and of course Canada allows the Mini trucks on the road, and there are dealers of parts and vehicles there as well too. Yes it is too bad that American laws have made so many efficient and cost effective vehicles illegal here, and consider that this vehicle would likely be legal here if it had only three wheels :-) Duh.. Q. Just how good of 4WD vehicles are these little trucks? A. Below you'll see mine, I put aftermarket tires and wheels on it, and it will go places I have little business going. Stump jumping requires lots of ground clearance, and if that's your goal, there will be far better rigs to buy, but for carrying a load into and out of some fairly rugged places, these little trucks are far more comfortable and haul a bigger pay load than the side by side ATV offerings at a fraction of the price. Above: George's personal Mini Truck on a steep and rocky hill, many stock 4WD half and 3/4 ton pickups would never make it up this hill, and if you got sideways, you'd roll over in most vehicles, this is steep and as we know, pictures do not always communicate the grade.
