I’ve noticed some new offerings in small verticle twin diesel engines from about 22hp on down to 4,5 and 6 hp. These look very similiar to horizontal engines already in the county, and they are targeted for the lawn mower industry. We know ethanol blends are causing a lot of trouble in mowers, and I’m wondering if there won’t be a ton of diesel lawn mowers for sale soon?
I found a number of examples (all chinese) at the moment by googling ‘verticle shaft diesel’.
Would make sense, figure’s too; Lord willing, I went and bought me a nice Cub Cadet
zero turn rider, with a 23 HP Kohler on it to hopefully last me the rest of my life. I wanted one with grease fittings everywhere they needed to be, and even took the main axle out and put a grease fitting there too. Lord willing, got it all fixed up like I
wanted it and now this with the gasoline and oil. I’ve only mowed with it 7 times! Ihave to get around this somehow; And I really want to thank all of you for giving me a heads-up on the gas/oil thing. I really enjoy reading up on things, and take advise from George B. very seriously. If everone would just keep an eye open to whats going on in the world right now; They might be considering a plan B. Putting it out of your mind is not smart…PS ” I don’t know if you’ve got my email or not, but,YES! please keep me in mind when you get the listeroid gensets in…May God bless all of you…”homealone777”
